The GTA V modding community is in full bloom now, bolstering the already feature-packed game with awesomely chaotic new features like Just Cause-style grappling hooks, ragdoll physics on demand and full-on apocalyptic scenarios involving tsunamis. We've already covered some of the craziest, - the ones that take advantage of the game's robust, versatile engine to turn San Andreas into a playground of hilarious, physics-based destruction.
But now it's time to get serious, and talk about the mods which take elevate GTA V to a new level of immersion and realism. Sure, there's plenty of fun to be had in firing vehicles from a cannon, and zooming around Los Santos in Mario's Kart, but there comes a time in every mod user's life where they want to deepen a game, rather than just goof around with it. These mods will boost the already-stunning graphics of GTA V (if your rig can handle it), modify NPC behaviour to respond more realistically to you, and even let you play different roles in the city - seeing Los Santos' screwed up society from a whole new perspective.
So if you want to refine your GTA V experience to a degree you'd never have thought was possible, then come on in.
